Mrs. Eileen F. Kimble, 80, a native of Marshall, Minn., and longtime resident of Clarksburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Hospice Home of Burlington, N.C., after many years of failing health.
She was the wife of the late Lester Kimble and the daughter of the late Henry and Florence Wollin.
She recently moved to North Carolina to be with her son.
Mrs. Kimble was a member of Clarksburg United Methodist Church.
She was a military wife who after her husband's retirement worked at Asbury Methodist Home, Gaithersburg, and erk-Lee Retail Store, Rockville.
She spent most of her life enjoying her favorite activities of fishing with her husband, painting, CB radio, pets, including champion show dogs and gardening.
She is survived by her son, David Kimble; a sister, Helen Fink; a brother, Harold Wollin; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Clarksburg United Methodist Church on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m.
